COOK COUNTY, IL. (THECOUNT) — Dajon M. Lewis is facing first-degree murder charges in the double fatal shooting at River Oaks Mall, according to Tuesday reports.
Lewis, 18, is expected to appear in court Tuesday afternoon.
Following the death of Christin Lashay Ross, the 18-year old girl who was shot mid-October during a drive-by shooting outside the River Oaks Center, the 17-year-old boy, Tyrell Wade, who was also shot, has passed away as a result of his injuries.
Ross, who was shot last week during a drive-by shooting outside the River Oaks Center, died on October 13.
Ross was pronounced dead at 8:40 p.m. on Saturday of gunshot injuries.
Ross and a 17-year old boy, were shot in the Macy’s parking lot at River Oaks Center Thursday night, reports chicago.cbs.
Calumet City police say they were targeted.
No arrests have been made.
Anyone with possible information on the deadly incident should contact police at 911.
