HICKMAN COUNTY, TN. (THECOUNT) — Missing Hickman County woman Carolyn Pope was located deceased Wednesday night, according to Tennessee officials.
According to the Hickman County Sheriff’s Office, the body of Pope, who went missing more than a week ago, was found Wednesday night in an incident police say is not being investigated as a homicide.
An autopsy will be performed to determine a cause of death.
Arrests could still be made in the case, reports WKRN.
Pope was reported missing earlier this month. Her vehicle was eventually located and the TBI was assisting investigators with submitting evidence for testing.
Officials released no further information on the case which remains open and active.
