STATESBORO, GA. (THECOUNT) — Jordan Wiggins, of Tallahassee, Florida, has been identified as the Georgia Southern University football player found dead, according to Tuesday morning reports.
Wiggins, a Georgia Southern University Eagles football freshman, has died, reports said on Tuesday morning.
Wiggins was studying electrical engineering, according to WJBF.
The Athletic Department released a statement, offering their thoughts to his friends, family and classmates.
The cause of death is not yet known.
