POCATELLO, ID. (THECOUNT) — Steven Skylar Drain, the Idaho man wanted in a Pocatello stabbing, has been captured early Sunday morning, according to officials.
According to the Pocatello Police Department, Drain, 29, was apprehended while officials were conducting an investigation into the stabbing in the 500 block of South 8th Avenue.
Police say they received several tips as to the whereabouts of Drain. Those tips led officers to a residence in the 1500 block of Zener Street.
After a brief standoff, Drain was taken into custody by officers at 3:45 a.m., reports NIXLE.
The Pocatello Police Department thanks citizens for their understanding and assistance in helping apprehend Drain.
There is no further danger to the public.
The investigation is ongoing.
