HOUSTON, TX. (THECOUNT) — Houston police are looking for a pair of killers early Monday who wore halloween masks during a robbery of a Houston Valero gas station overnight, according to reports.
Police say they responded to the gas station, located at 2800 Reed Road, in Houston, TX near Highway 288, on reports of shots fired. When officers arrived, they discovered the store’s clerk suffering from apparent gunshot injuries.
The clerk was later pronounced dead at the scene of gunshot injuries.
Police said there were witnesses to the shooting, but right now the description of the suspects is vague. Two masked gunmen fled the scene in a dark color Nissan, reports KHOU.
Officers are working to get surveillance video.
It’s unknown what, if anything, the gunmen took.
