BURLINGTON, NC. (THECOUNT) — Burlington man, Donald Cody Watlington, has been identified as the victim found fatally shot Monday night in Burlington, North Carolina.
Watlington, 27, was found suffering from at least one gunshot wound while in the area of the Tucker Street Apartments in Burlington after 10:30 p.m. Monday night.
Burlington police say, Watlington was discovered fatally shot in the back on the sidewalk in between two apartment buildings near Center Avenue and Tucker Street.
“It appears Watlington sustained a single gunshot wound to the back. Currently the investigation is on-going,” reports WXii.
