JACKSON COUNTY. MO. (THCOUNT) — At least five people were injured in a Saturday night shooting in Kansas City, MO, according to reports.

Five unidentified people were injured in a shooting at a nightclub overnight in Jackson County, say officials.

Just after 3:30 a.m., the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched on a sounds of shots call at The SPOTT Lifestyle and Swingers Club of Kansas City, reports KCTV5.

When they arrived on-scene, deputies learned that five shooting victims were transported to hospital in private vehicles.

Police are continuing to investigate the incident and what led up to the shooting.

Sheriff Darryl Forte tweeted out about the incident.
