WETUMPKA, AL. (THECOUNT) — Tallassee woman Pamela Hitson has been identified as the victim killed Monday morning in a Wetumpka single-vehicle crash, according to reports.
Hitson, 50, was killed when the Nissan Maxima she was operating, for unknown reasons, crossed centerlines and exited the roadway. Her vehicle then struck a tree.
The deadly incident occurred around 8:30 a.m. on Willow Springs Rd & Redland Rd, in Wetumpka, Alabama.
Hitson was pronounced dead at the scene of multiple blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
