WEST MIFFLIN, PA. — West Mifflin police received a call Saturday morning from a man who informed them he had just killed his mother, according to reports.
Kenneth Burdick, 42, called 911 and reported he planned on surrendering after killing his own mother in a home on Shady Lane in West Mifflin Saturday morning.
Police said they were dispatched around 7:00 a.m. to a home located at, 713 Shady Lane, in West Mifflin, PA.
Reports say, Burdick was taken into custody without further incident.
A man is in jail after police said he called them early Saturday and admitted to killing his mother, reports WTAE.
West Mifflin police found Burdick’s mother inside the home.
Allegheny County Police were requested to start an investigation and learned there is a history of domestic disturbance calls to the Shady Lane home.
Burdick was charged with criminal homicide and taken to the Allegheny County Jail.
