SHREVEPORT, LA. (THECOUNT) — Bossier City, Louisiana man, Bruce Dominique, Jr., has been identified as the pedestrian struck and killed in a freak semi-tractor train accident in Shreveport on Friday.
According to reports, Dominique, 36, was killed in a tractor trailer and train collision on West 70th Street on Friday afternoon while on-foot beside the moving train.
The victim was walking beside a moving train, crossing West 70th Street when an 18-wheeler crossed the railroad tracks, causing the truck’s trailer to pivot, pinning Dominique against the train, according to a report by KSLA.
Dominique was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries where he later died of multiple blunt force trauma injuries.
This incident is still under investigation.
