JEFFERSON CITY, MO. (THECOUNT) — Lloyd Randle III, of Jefferson City, MO, has been identified as the body pulled from the Missouri River after a weekend-long search, according to Tuesday reports.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the body of Randle, 18, was recovered Monday after he reportedly drove into the Missouri river for unknown reasons on Saturday.
Divers recovered his car later in the day about 70 feet (21.34 meters) from shore in the main channel. But they didn’t find his body until Monday on the surface of the water across from the State Capitol building, reports FOX4KC.
It was unclear why Randle’s vehicle entered the river.
