ALTOONA, IA. (THECOUNT) — Altoona, Iowa police are asking the public to stay away from Adventureland and Prairie Meadows due to an “active situation.”
Multiple police units can be seen in the area of Spectators and the Adventureland campgrounds.
Prairie Meadows is locked down during the situation, reports KCCI.
Altoona Police Sgt. Alysssa Wilson says “There is an active situation at Adventureland and Prairie Meadows. The public needs to stay away.”
Police have not yet provided any other details.
