NORTH STORMONT, ONT. (THECOUNT) — Logan Sunday, of South Glengarry, Ontario has been identified as the victim in a fatal Saturday single-vehicle crash in North Stormont, Ontario.
Sunday, 18, was killed while traveling as a passenger in a vehicle that crashed Saturday in North Stormont.
Preliminary investigation determined a vehicle was travelling eastbound on County Road 43 when, for unknown reasons, crossed centerlines and exited the roadway. The vehicle then entered a culvert and flipped over.
On July 20, 2019 at approximately 4:37 a.m. Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to the scene of a single vehicle collision on County Rd. 43 between County Rd. 20 and Pigeon Hill Rd. in North Stormont Township, reports CornwallSeawayNews.
An unidentified adult driver, a male, 25, of South Glengarry, was transported to hospital with serious non-life threatening injuries.
Sunday was pronounced deceased at scene of multiple blunt force trauma injuries.
SD&G OPP continue to investigate the collision with the assistance of the OPP Traffic Collision Investigators (TCI).
