OZAUKEE COUNTY, WI. (THECOUNT) — Robert L. Tolson, of Port Washington, Wisconsin has been identified as the victim in a fatal single-vehicle crash in Port Washington on Saturday.
Tolson, 57, was operating a vehicle on Mink Ranch Road around 7 p.m. on Saturday, when for unknown reasons, he crossed conterlines and exited the roadway and entered a culvert. The vehicle then rolled over several times.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, Tolson, the sole occupant of the vehicle, was ejected.
He was transported via helicopter to an area hospital where he later passed away of multiple blunt force trauma injuries.
A witness reported seeing the vehicle “driving erratically,” prior to the crash, reports CBS58.
Impairment was not a factor in the crash, the sheriff’s office confirms.
The investigation is ongoing.
