John Murray, who says he was a passenger on United Airlines flight that departed from LaGuardia Airport, said the plane had to make an emergency landing at Newark Airport during it’s trip to Houston, Texas, reports Pix11.

“Best I know–had a flat tire on takeoff(?), friction in the wheel well created some smoke. Flight crew and emergency response teams are top-notch,” Murray said in a tweet.
