MYRTLE BEACH, SC. (THECOUNT) — Paula Egelston, of Greensboro, North Carolina, has been identified as the victim found face down in a Myrtle Beach resort hot tub on Tuesday, according to reports.

Egelston, 57, was found dead in The Patricia Grand jacuzzi Tuesday, according to officials. The resort is located at, 2710 North Ocean Boulevard in Myrtle Beach.

Police responded to a report of a unresponsive person in a hot tub before 4 a.m. Tuesday, say local reports.

MyFox8 reports police helped hotel security perform CPR as they waited for EMS to arrive.

The coroner later identified the victim as Egelston.

A cause of death was not provided.
