JACKSONVILLE, FL. (THECOUNT) — Henry Haigler III, of Jacksonville, Florida, has been identified as the suspect wanted over a Saturday hit-and-run collision that resulted in the deaths of a pair of bicycle riders.

Haigler, 37, was operating a vehicle on Racetrack Road, when he came into contact with two cyclist. He then fled the scene.

Police are said to have located Haigler’s vehicle in a garage area of his Jacksonville residence.

The vehicle showed heavy front end damage and hair was found embedded into the vehicle’s broken windshield.

Haigler was driving a 2016 black Hyundai Azera when he is believed to have left the scene of the accident.

According to an arrest warrant, the car was located in Haigler’s garage after a search warrant was executed at his apartment, located at, 6948 Roundleaf Dr, in Jacksonville, FL.

Detectives have obtained an arrest warrant for him in connection to the fatality crash that occurred this past Saturday, reports WOKV.

A warrant has been issued for his arrest on a felony charge of leaving the scene of a traffic crash that involved death.

The affidavit says several people witnessed the car near the scene, or driving away from it.
