CHANNAHON, IL. (THECOUNT) — Charles D. Hiller, of Channahon, Illinois, has been identified as the victim in a Thursday night crash in Channahon Township.
Hiller, 70, was operating a vehicle in the 24000 block of West Canal Road, when for unknown reasons, he crossed centerlines and exited the roadway. The vehicle then struck multiple fixed objects.
Hiller was pronounced dead at after 11:30 p.m. of multiple blunt force trauma injuries.
An autopsy is scheduled for Friday, reports Patch.
The Will County Sheriff’s Office said the investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
