GRESHAM, OR. (THECOUNT) — Henry Sweeney, of Gresham, Oregon, has been identified as the victim in a Wednesday afternoon motorcycle crash in Gresham.
Sweeney, 19, was operating a motorcycle when he came into contact with an SUV driven by an 81-year-old individual on Wednesday.
The unidentified driver of the Hyundai SUV, who was injured in the crash, fully cooperated with arriving officials.
No arrests or citations were issued, reports SFChronicle.
Gresham police officers determined the SUV driver was performing a left hand turn into a shopping center when it collided with Sweeney’s motorcycle.
Sweeney was thrown from the bike during the collision.
He was pronounced dead of multiple blunt force trauma injuries.
The investigation remains open and ongoing.
