NASH COUNTY, NC. (THECOUNT) — The body of missing North Carolina woman, Sarah Denise Patterson, has been located Wednesday in a shallow grave, according to the Nash County Sheriff’s Office.
Patterson, 51, went missing on May 16 in the 4200 block of Biltmore Lane in Spring Hope and was last seen driving a 2010 Honda Accord that was located burned out Wednesday morning.
Two suspect are in custody. Cleavon Williams and April Smith were identified by officials as the two in custody.
Williams is Patterson’s nephew and is charged with first-degree murder. Smith is charged with accessory to murder, reports CBS17.
There isn’t any indication yet a cause or manner of death.
Patterson was reported missing Monday night by a family member, the sheriff’s office said.
