MANCHESTER, CT. (THECOUNT) — Harry Barrett, Glastonbury, Connecticut, has been identified as the man killed after jumping from a Manchester highway overpass Thursday.
Barrett, 56, died after jumping off the Interstate 384 connector to Interstate 291 onto Interstate 84 Thursday morning.
State police arrived to a calls of a jumper above I-84 Thursday morning. Upon arrival, a male victim was found suffering massive blunt force trauma on the Interstate.
A spokesman for the chief medical examiner’s office said today that the manner of death was suicide, reports JournalInquirer.
Barrett was pronounced dead at the scene.
