GREAT BARRINGTON, MA. (THECOUNT) — Christopher Puntin, of Pittsfield, MA, has been identified as the victim of a fatal hunting trip accident.
Great Barrington Police say, Puntin, 44, died after sustaining a fatal gunshot wound during a youth turkey hunt in a wooded area on Monument Valley Road, in Great Barrington, MA.
After an investigation, police believe the incident was accidental., reports WNYT.
“This is a tragic situation for all involved,” Chief William Walsh said.
The incident remains under investigation.
