MARIES COUNTY, MO. (THECOUNT) — Jason Roberds, of Belle, Missouri, has been identified as the victim killed in an overnight motorcycle crash in Maries County.
Roberds, 40, was operating a Harley Davidson motorcycle traveling on State Hwy Z in Maries County, when for unknown reasons, crossed conterlines and exited the roadway after 9 p.m. Wednesday.
The motorcycle then overturned and collided with a substantial hay bale.
Roberds was pronounced dead at the scene of multiple blunt force trauma injuries.
A crash report noted the victim was wearing a helmet at the time of the violent wreck.
The investigation is ongoing.
