WINSTON-SALEM, NC. (THECOUNT) — Clinton Lamont Tart, of Lewisville, North Carolina has been identified as the victim in a fatal Winston-Salem single-vehicle crash Saturday morning.
Tart, 46, was operating a vehicle in the 2900 block of Silas Creek Parkway, when for unknown reasons, he exited the roadway and collided with a Bolton Street bridge support column around 8 a.m. Saturday.
The solo-victim was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of multiple blunt force trauma injuries.
A section of Silas Creek Parkway was closed for more than two hours, reports MyFox8.
Authorities said this is the fourth fatal wreck this year in Winston-Salem, compared to two at this time last year.
