LOS ANGELES, CA. (THECOUNT) — The Encino home of Sean McVay, head coach of NFL’s Los Angeles Rams, was burglarized Thursday night.
Reports say, the thieves made off multiple personal belongings, such as jewelry and expensive purses, TMZ Sports reported Friday. It is unclear if McVay’s longtime girlfriend, Veronika Khomyn, was a victim of the burglary.
Three men wearing hoodies, bandanas and gloves entered the posh home by smashing through a back door. There was no one home at the time.
TMZ reports McVay’s security system went off, alerting police, but the suspect had already fled the area.
In addition to what was stolen, TMZ says there was damage done to the house which is still being assessed.
Police are attempting to utilize area security video to assist in identifying the suspects.
Rams Receiver Robert Woods’ home was burglarized last year during a Thursday Night Football game.
