ROCHESTER, MN. (THECOUNT) — Albert Thomas Dashow, of Rochester, Minnesota, has been identified as the suspect who died in a police-involved incident outside of Cub Foods Wednesday night.
“Al” Dashow, 39, died as officers were attempting to apprehending a suspect. Officers said they not use their weapons, however clarified later saying a taser is indeed consider a weapon.
In a release, the medical examiner said they have not determined the cause and manner of death pending additional investigation and that the BCA and Rochester Police are still investigating, reports KAALTV.
The release states that additional information, including the names of the officers involved, will be released by the BCA once initial interviews are complete and that the officers have not submitted statements to the BCA at this time.
