JACKSON COUNTY, MS. (THECOUNT) — Sheryl Leopard, of Vancleave, Mississippi, has been identified as the victim in a fatal ATV crash in Jackson County over the weekend.
Leopard, 61, was riding as a passenger on an ATV driven by her son, when she was killed following a crash.
The pair were on riding trails on private property just off Old River Road in Vancleave when the ATV flipped after hitting a stump, reports WLOX.
The vehicle flipped on its passenger side, pinning Leopard underneath the frame.
Leopard was pronounced dead at the scene of multiple blunt force related injuries suffered in the crash.
The investigation into the cause of the crash remains under investigation, according to officials.
