MO Man Justin Michael Trepanier ID’d As Victim In Saturday Fatal 80 Foot Fall From Destin FL Balcony

DESTIN, FL. (THECOUNT) — Justin Michael Trepanier, of Millersville, Missouri, has been identified as the victim in a from fall from a balcony while visiting the Destin area of Florida on Saturday.

Trepanier, 27, was visiting a Destin condominium when he plunged off an 8-story balcony and onto a pool deck below. He was pronounced dead of massive blunt for trauma injuries.

According to the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office, the body of Trepanier was located by a security guard at a Destin resort around 5 a.m., reports KFVS.

An on-duty security guard says he surveyed the property earlier, at 2:30 a.m., and did not see anything out of the ordinary.

Trepanier was reportedly visiting the Destin area with a group of friends when the fatal incident occurred.

A friend of the victim said he last observed Trepanier sometime around 2 a.m. exiting the condo to the balcony area to smoke a cigarette following a night on the town.

An investigator with the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office says there is no indication of foul play and the fall appears to be a tragic accident.
