WARREN COUNTY, KY. (THECOUNT) — Christopher Gentry, of Smiths Grove, Kentucky and Joshua Thomas, of Glasgow, Kentucky, have been identified as the two victims in a Smiths Grove crash on Monday night.
Thomas, 36, was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Smiths Grove Monday night after colliding head-on with a pickup truck. Gentry, the driver of the pickup, was also killed in the violent crash.
Officials says, Thomas was operating a vehicle travelling near the intersection of Hydro Pondsville Rd & Glasgow Rd, Smiths Grove, when for unknown reasons, crossed centerlines and entered opposing lanes.
Officials say 42-year-old Gentry was operating a pickup truck when he was struck head-on by Thoman, who was traveling in the opposite direction.
Both Thomas and Gentry were pronounced dead at the scene of multiple blunt force trauma injuries.
Gentry’s passenger, Amy Love, of Park City, Kentucky, was taken to Vanderbilt. Her condition is unknown right now, according to reporting by WBKO.
The investigation is ongoing.
