CT Teen Marcus Fisher Charged In Stabbing Deaths Of Montville Grandparents

MONTVILLE, CT. (THECOUNT) — Marcus Fisher, of Montville, Connecticut, has been identified as the teen arrested after being accused of killing his grandparents, 77-year-old Gertrude Piszczek and 76-year-old John Piszczek.

After the killings, Fisher, 18, attempted to burn down his grandparents’ home, with their fatally stabbed bodies inside around 4:45 a.m. Monday, court documents say.

Fisher later admitted to police that he’d fatally stabbed both of his grandparents.

The medical examiner determined they were killed in a stabbing and their deaths have been ruled homicides.

Fisher has been charged with two counts of murder, one count of murder with special circumstances and one count of criminal attempt to commit arson in the second degree.

According to court documents, Fisher initially denied hurting his grandparents but later admitted that he’d gotten into an argument with his grandfather after dinner on Sunday night and stabbed him in the chest with a kitchen knife, reports NBCConnecticut.

After the stabbing, Fisher cleaned the knife, went outside, lit a fire and tried to burn the house down, according to police.

He’d also left the gas on inside the house, according to police.

Bond for Fisher was set at $1 million. He is due in court on Feb. 4.

Some news outlets spelled the victims’ last name, “Piscezek.”
