LEXINGTON, KY. (THECOUNT) — Iesha Edwards has been identified as the female victim in an early morning shooting outside a gentlemen’s club on Lexington’s east side.
Edwards, 27, died of gunshot injuries just before 3 a.m. after being shot outside Lexington’s Fox Club, located at, 3946, 987 Winchester Rd, in Lexington, KY.

Police were still seeking a suspect and no motive information was provided by officials.
The Fayette County Coroner confirmed Edwards died of a gunshot wound just before 3 a.m. after being transported to an area hospital.
Police were reviewing surveillance footage after the shooting occurred about 2:30 a.m.
Authorities said they were looking for a male suspect but did not say what might have led up to the deadly shooting.
Police found shell casings at the scene, and an unoccupied vehicle in front of the club was struck by a bullet, reports LEX18.
Anyone with possible information on the fatal incident are asked to contact police at 911 immediately.
