LAGRANGE, GA. (THECOUNT) — Malenko Cooley, the Alabama man reported missing since Jan. 19, was found deceased in a vehicle early Tuesday morning, according to LaGrange officials.
LaGrange Police say they responded at around 10:00 p.m. to the area of Mooty Bridge Rd. in LaGrange on a tip about the missing man. Upon arrival, police located Cooley, aka, “Kutt SF,” deceased in a vehicle in the 100 block of Spring St. at approximately 12:58 a.m. Tuesday.
The initial investigation found that he had been shot in the upper torso and died as a result of his injuries, reports WTVM.
Cooley was pronounced dead at the scene of gunshot injuries.
Police provided no suspect or motive information at this time.
The investigation is ongoing.
