NASHVILLE, TN. (THECOUNT) — Ashley Yarbrough of Spring Hill, Tennessee, has been identified as the young woman found stabbed to death in Madison, a suburban neighborhood of northeast Nashville.
Yarbrough, 24, was found suffering from multiple stab wounds Monday night at the bottom of a stairwell at group of condominiums, located at 1301 Neelys Bend Road, adjacent to Neelys Bend Middle School.

Police say an acquaintance of Yarbrough was involved in an altercation with the victim but denied being the one who stabbed her. The acquaintance made the 911 call around 11:50 p.m., reports Fox17.
Investigators are pursuing leads but say neither Yarbrough or the acquaintance lived at the condos. It is believed Yarbrough was stabbed by someone she knows, not by a stranger.
