GREENVILLE, SC. (THECOUNT) — Karen Burroughs Boyce, of Greenville, South Carolina, has been identified as the victim in a Saturday morning Greenville city limits two-vehicle crash.
Boyce, 62, was traveling as a passenger in a blue SUV Saturday around 8:21 when it attempted to make a left-hand turn off N Academy St, near McPherson Park, and collided with a sliver pickup truck traveling on N Main St, according to police.

The truck made contact with the passenger portion of the SUV causing the vehicle to slam into a light pole.
Boyce was pronounced dead at the scene of multiple blunt force trauma injuries consistent with the violent collision.
When interviewed, both drivers indicated they had the right of way.
The crash remains under investigation.
