GA Man Vincent Wells ID’d As Victim Found Dead Inside Ocilla Residence Wednesday

OCILLA, GA. (THECOUNT) — Vincent Sharod Wells has been identified as the male victim found deceased inside an Ocilla residence, GBI officials said.

Wells, 31, was found dead after police responded to a call about shots fired in the 700 block of East 5th Street, in Oscilla, GA, around 3:10 a.m. Wednesday.

The body will be taken to the GBI medical examiner’s office for an autopsy to determine the cause of death. source

No possible suspect or motive information was made available by officials.

Anyone with possible information on the death should contact police at 911.

The city of Ocilla is the county seat of Irwin County, Georgia, United States. Its population was 3,414 at the 2010 census. Ocilla is part of the Fitzgerald Micropolitan Statistical Area, according to Wikipedia.
