ATLANTIC CITY, NJ. (THECOUNT) — A New Jersey gambler created some holiday luck for himself when he managed to turn a $5 bet into a $1 million last weekend.
The man, identified as “Harold M,” was at Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa in Atlantic City playing Three Card Poker “6 Card Bonus” when he won big.
Harold M bet just $5 when he was dealt the 10, queen and ace of diamonds.
The dealer’s hand was the 9, jack and king of diamonds, wthr reported.
Harold M had a 6-card diamond Royal Flush.
According to a spokesman for the casino, the odds of hitting the 6-card Bonus Royal Flush are 1 in 20,348,320.
