OOLTEWAH, TN. (THECOUNT) — Ellen L. Hudson of Ooltewah, has been identified as the victim in a fatal crash in Ooltewah, TN, Friday evening.
The crash occurred around 5:45 pm in the 6900 block of Snow Hill Rd, Ooltewah, TN Friday evening, according to a crash report.
Hudson, whose age was not provided, was operating a Honda CRV, when for unknown reasons, crossed centerlines, exited the roadway and entered a ditch. Her vehicle then traveled back onto the roadway, spun around and traveled into the opposite lane of traffic striking a Chrysler Pacifica.
Hudson was transported to an area hospital where she was later pronounced dead of multiple blunt force injuries consistent with the collision.
The driver of the Chrysler Pacifica was not seriously injured in the crash.
“The driver of the Honda CRV was found to be unresponsive and was transported to a local medical facility where they were later pronounced deceased,” Matt Lea, with the HCSO, said. source
The HCSO Traffic Division is investigating the cause of the crash.
