HAVERHILL, MA. (THECOUNT) — Consentino Middle School student, Precious Wallaces, has been identified in a GoFundMe as the Haverhill, MA, girl who died in the hospital after suffering a medical episode at home and falling into a coma over the weekend.
Police say they are investigating a medical call to a home in Lawrence that left the 11-year-old girl on life support over the weekend. She was pronounced dead on Tuesday.
The events leading up to the victim’s death and a cause of death were not provided.
According to a statement from the Essex district attorney’s office, medical crews were called early Saturday morning to an unidentified address in Lawrence. They transported an 11-year-old girl to Lawrence General Hospital. She was later airlifted to Tufts Medical Center on Boston, where she was on life support. The girl was not identified, nor was there any explanation of what had happened to her. source
Lawrence police and state police detectives are investigating.
