CHATTANOOGA, TN. (THECOUNT) – Rossville, Georgia man, Joshua Conrad Smith, is facing several counts of aggravated statutory rape charge in Hamilton County.
Smith, 32, was booked into the Hamilton County Jail Friday for 5 counts of aggravated statutory rape, according to reports.
Smith, the director of a North Georgia theater company and 2008 Pulitzer Prize nominee, has been indicted on five counts of aggravated statutory rape.

He is accused of intentionally engaging in sexual contact with two underage girls between Feb. 15, 2017, and June 1, 2017.
The grand jury handed down the indictment on Dec. 12 and Smith, 32, was arrested on Friday and taken to the Hamilton County Jail. He has since been released on $10,000 bond. source
