BALTIMORE, MD. (THECOUNT) — Jacquelyn Smith of Harford County, MD, has been identified as the woman killed in a bizarre incident Saturday involving a “needy” young woman begging for money on a Baltimore street corner.
Baltimore Police say Smith, 52, gave money out of her car window to what looked like a needy young mother was then stabbed to death by a man who approached the vehicle tried to steal her wallet.
Police said the female suspect was holding a cardboard sign saying, “Please Help me feed my Baby.”
Police said a man approached the vehicle to thank Smith for giving money but then proceeded to assault her and take her belongings.
