DAYTON, OH. (THECOUNT) — Ohio woman, LaPeetra Dawson, has been identified as the victim found suffering from at least one gunshot wound in a Dayton, Ohio, residence Tuesday night.
Dawson, 37, was fatally shot at a residence in the 2800 block of Millicent Avenue, in Dayton, Tuesday night, according to authorities.
Police say they are treating the death as a homicide.
An autopsy of Dawson’s body is planned at a later date, according to investigators.
Details surrounding the shooting or possible suspects remain unclear.
La’Peetra Dawson was shot and killed in the 2800 block just before midnight, prompting investigators from the Montgomery County Coroner’s Office to respond to the incident, which they confirmed was a homicide. source
