BIBB COUNTY, GA. (THECOUNT) — An arrest has been made in the September murder of Macon, Georgia man, John Lewis Fleming III, aka, J3.
Fleming, 53, was first reported missing by his girlfriend after he failed to pick her up from a hair appointment in September.
Bibb County deputies have arrested 36-year-old Raymond Leverett, of Warner Robins, GA, as a suspect in the murder of Macon man, Fleming.
A sheriff’s release said Bibb County investigators, officers with the US Marshal Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force and Warner Robins police arrested Raymond Leverett, of Warner Robins. source
At the time, Larcine Fleming, said she was very concerned over her son’s disappearance:
“I can’t sleep, I can’t eat, it just breaks me down so bad. I can’t stand it,” she said of her son’s disappearance. source
Fleming said she spent much of her time sitting by the phone.
The release said law enforcement discovered evidence during their investigation which led them to connect Leverett to Fleming’s disappearance and murder. Leverett is reportedly being held without bond at the Bibb County LEC.
