GEORGETOWN, KY. (THECOUNT) — Brent Woods and Nicole Stininger, have been identified as the couple found dead in an apparent murder-suicide in Georgetown, Kentucky, Thursday.
Woods and “Nikki” Stininger, both 26, were found suffering from gunshot wounds in a residence located near Myers Drive, and Degaris Mill Road, in Georgetown, KY.
It appeared Woods shot Stininger dead before shooting himself, according to the Scott County coroner.
The coroner said the couple had two children together.
Police found their 18-month-old unharmed inside their apartment. The coroner said the child was covered in the mother’s blood. source
The couple’s 4-year-old child wasn’t home at the time, according to the coroner. It is unclear where the child is currently located.

Funeral arrangements for Stininger, who was from Harrodsburg, are pending.
