MADISON COUNTY, IN. (THECOUNT) — Victoria Hansen has been identified as the victim in a fatal Tuesday morning single-vehicle crash in Pendleton, Madison County.
Hansen, 28, was operating a vehicle with her three children on Indiana 38, in Pendleton, IN, when for unknown reasons, she exited the roadway and crashed into a utility pole Tuesday morning.
The children, ages 9, 6 and 3 were all transported to area hospitals with serious injuries.
The 9-year-old suffered several fractures. The 3-year-old got a large laceration to the mouth/chin. The 6-year-old is in critical condition with skull and facial fractures, forehead lacerations and a left arm fracture. source
Hansen was also transported to a local hospital where she was later pronounced dead at of blunt force trauma injuries consistent with the crash.
This incident remains under investigation.
