LACLEDE COUNTY, MO. (THECOUNT) — Katelyn Campbell, of Camdenton, MO, has been identified as the teenager killed in a Lebanon, MO, crash on Thursday night.
Campbell, 17, was operating a 2001 Ford Ranger at 11:18 p.m., Thursday, when for unknown reasons, exited the roadway while traveling on Highway 5 less than 10 miles south of Lebanon, MO.
The victim was ejected from the vehicle during the violent crash, according to first responders.
The Laclede County coroner arrived on-scene and pronounced Campbell deceased at midnight of blunt force trauma injuries consistent with the crash.
Campbell was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, a crash report noted.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Katelyn Campbell, 17, of Camdenton, was pronounced deceased at the scene of an accident in Laclede County. On Thurs., Nov. 1 at 11:18 p.m., Campbell travelled off the road and overturned on Highway 5 nine miles south of Lebanon. source
