LEVELLAND, TX. (THECOUNT) — Howard Earl Thomas has been identified as the pedestrian found on the side of the roadway suffering from blunt force injuries Thursday in Levelland, TX.
Thomas, 50, was found unresponsive in a ditch and was transported to an area hospital where he later died from his injuries.
Police with the Levelland Police Department say they believe Thomas was hit by a vehicle Thursday night in the 600 block of East Highway 114, in Levelland.
Police report the incident happened after 7:30 p.m. Thursday close to the John Deere House and Walmart in the 600 block of East Highway 114. source
An investigation is currently ongoing but police are also asking for help gathering information about the night’s events.
