ROCKVILLE, MD. (THECOUNT) — An Uber driver was carjacked by armed men Friday while giving them a ride in Rockville, Montgomery County police said.
Officials said at approximately 5:17 p.m. a 25-year-old Uber driver pick up four young men, two armed, in the 11300 block of Cushman Road. While driving, the driver was ordered at gunpoint to stop the car and get out, police said.
The driver was able to wave down a passing motorist and call police at Marcliff Road and Tuckerman Lane. source
The carjacked vehicle is a black, four-door Honda Civic with MD plate 6CP2924.
The investigation is ongoing.
