SARASOTA, FL. (THECOUNT) — Pennsylvania woman, Margaret Murray, has been identified as the victim killed after being struck by a boat propeller while visiting Lido Key Beach in Florida Sunday.
Murray, 22, died Sunday, a day following a boating accident in Sarasota Saturday, reported the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.
Officials says Murray was in the water Saturday afternoon when she was struck by the 27-foot pontoon boats propeller.
Murray had been attending LECOM School of Dental Medicine in Bradenton after graduating from Seton Hill University in Greensburg, Pennsylvania earlier this year. source
First responders arrived on-scene and transported her to a Sarasota hospital, where she succumb to her injuries.
Murray was pronounced dead Sunday.
