WINSTON-SALEM, NC. (THECOUNT) — North Carolina man, Mark Norfleet, has been identified as the victim found suffering from at least one gunshot wound Sunday night in Winston-Salem.
Norfleet, 29, was discovered in a pool of blood after police responded to a call of ‘shot fired’ on Edwards Street in Winston-Salem Sunday night.
Upon arrival to 2911 Edwards Street, in Winston-Salem, NC, Norfleet was discovered clinging to life at about 7:54 p.m.
At about 7:54 p.m., Winston-Salem police responded to a shooting at 2911 Edwards St. Mark Dexter Norfleet, 29, of Winston-Salem, was found suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. source
Norfleet passed away shortly after police summoned EMS.
He was pronounced dead at the scene of gunshot wounds.
The department’s Criminal Investigations Division is not releasing further information regarding their investigation at this time.
