BAKERSFIELD, CA. (THECOUNT) — Bakersfield Police responded to calls of shots fired just after 12:30 a.m. Sunday in Southwest Bakersfield.
Police say, one person was shot dead and at least five more victims wounded, after a shooting in Southwest Bakersfield on Chandler Court near Wilson Road.

When they arrived they found found one victim on scene and witnesses reported more victims had gone to hospital. source
In total five people were reportedly wounded in the shooting, including one who succumbed to their injuries.
